Kazakhstan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakhstan) (Kазаkстан in the Cyrillic alphabet) is a country made up of immigrants and migrants. The immigrants are mostly European in background. The migrants are the indigenous population, some of whom are still nomadic. Kazakhstan prides itself on being a mix of two main cultures: those of the Kazakhstani and Russian peoples. They speak multiple languages.
Canada is a country with a similar composition. We believe that the child we adopt from Kazakhstan will be in a multicultural milieu similar in style to that of his or her own country and will fit in quite nicely in Canada. The familiar weather and geography will help too.
